School-Based Health Center
Welcome to the School-Based Health Center (SBHC) at Mount Pleasant High School. This center has been established to make quality healthcare available to teens. The SBHC is operated by a partnership that includes Christiana Care, the Brandywine School District, and the Delaware Division of Public Health.

School-Based Health Center services offered:
- Physicals (Sports, routine, school, or pre-employment)
- Health screenings
- Immunizations
- Diagnosis and treatment of minor illness/injury
- Diagnostic testing (limited)
- Counseling (individual, family, group)
- Reproductive health (birth control/condoms)
School-Based Health Center DOES NOT offer:
- Hospitalization
- Complex laboratory tests
- On-site x-rays
- Treatment of complex medical or psychiatric problems
To take advantage of the School-Based Health Center services:
- Return the completed enrollment/registration forms to the School-Based Health Center
- Provide insurance information (copy of front/back of card) - Fax to (302)765-1107 or bring in a hard copy
- Inform the School-Based Health Center of any insurance changes - Fax to (302)765-1107 or bring in a hard copy
