School Closings & Delays

  • Brandywine School District's first priority is to keep kids in school. However, in the case of extreme weather or bad road conditions, school may have to be closed or delayed. Here's how we let families know about school closings:

    Receive a phone call.

    • All BSD families will receive a phone call, text, and email to provide updates on any delays or closings. This information is pulled from eSchool. If you did not receive a phone call, text message, or email for a BSD delay or closure, please contact your child's school to make sure your contact information is correct.
