  • Numerous federal (and state) laws require school districts to provide students, parents, and/or the public with information concerning programs funded by the Federal Government.  This page provides information and links concerning these federal laws and programs.

    Child Nutrition Program

    As participants in several Federal School Nutrition Programs, the District is required to provide both parents and the community with information about free and reduced-price meals and/or free milk.  Click the title link for more information.

     

    McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act

    The District is required, through our Homeless Student Liaisons, to provide public notice of the education rights of the homeless students enrolled in the District. Click the title link for more information.

     

    Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Requests

    A FOIA request is a written request to inspect and copy the public records of the Brandywine School District.  Public records are any written or recorded information produced or compiled by the District that relate to its operations and purpose.
